This policy explains what data Founder Self-Assessment (founder-assessment.pages.dev, "we" or "the site") collects, how it is used, and what choices you have. The site is a free, browser-based founder self-assessment built on the Y Combinator framework.
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party.
Email subscription is handled by Buttondown, a newsletter service. When you subscribe, your email address and the weakest-part tag are sent to Buttondown's API to manage your subscription. Their privacy practices are governed by Buttondown's own privacy policy.
The site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which provides privacy-friendly, cookieless usage statistics (pages viewed, referrers, approximate location). It does not track you across sites and does not use cookies for advertising.
The site does not set any advertising or tracking cookies. Your assessment answers never leave your browser.
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the email address we hold about you at any time. To do so, email us (see contact below) or use the unsubscribe link in any email you receive.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top.
